Introduction

The Radicle Registry is a decentralized identity and governance service for free and open source software communities. It provides a trustless layer for reading, writing and coordinating around project metadata and it is designed as a domain-specific, permissionless blockchain using Nakamoto consensus.

The full node daemon, radicle-registry-node is written in Rust and based on substrate. By running a full node, you can participate in securing the network.

To set up your own node, check out our Getting Started guide.
